Stonebriar Counseling Associates: Coronavirus Update

Dear clients of Stonebriar Counseling Associates,

Stonebriar Counseling Associates is informed of the coronavirus concern and is keeping up to date with the new development and precautions from the CDC. Our primary goal is our client’s health and safety while still being able to provide our services. In light of growing anxieties around the new coronavirus, we have adopted the following protocols for the office.

  1. If you have recently traveled out of the country or to a coronavirus hotspot, please inform us and consider self-quarantine. If this is the case for you, we will only be able to see you through video sessions for the 14 day of that quarantine.
  2. If you are showing any sign or symptoms of illness, we ask that you stay home. Your therapist will be able to accommodate your sessions through video while you or we are having ANY symptoms such as fever, cough, or flu. This is for your protection, our team’s protection, and other clients who are attending sessions in our office.
  3. Before and after each session, each office, used materials, and the waiting room will be thoroughly sanitized with approved EPA’s disinfectants. Please understand this may cause a minor delay in sessions starting on time. If you are sensitive to any products on the EPA’s list, please let us know and we will accommodate your
    sessions via video.
  4. Each and every person entering our office is required to use hand sanitizer prior to sessions.

In an effort to help cope with anxiety produced by the coronavirus, if you are concerned about contracting the virus, or if you are part of a vulnerable population, we want to offer virtual ways to continue therapy. Call our office or talk to your therapist if you have any questions.

As of now, Stonebriar Counseling Associates is actively monitoring the coronavirus and will keep you updated on if/when our business practice needs to change. As always, you are our number one priority, so please do not hesitate to talk to your counselor today. We apologize in advance for any frustrations or inconvenience this may cause you and we hope that this season end quickly!
