Robert GoodThe oldest of four brothers, Bob is originally from Chicago, Illinois. During high school Bob excelled in sports and was offered a pole-vaulting scholarship to Illinois Southern University. But the Lord had a different direction. Upon graduation Bob selected Trinity International University (formerly Trinity College) in Deerfield, Illinois and majored in biblical studies. Using his talent he coached high school pole-vaulting and also served as a youth pastor in Akron, Ohio. Bob has been a senior pastor in Arizona, Florida, and New York. Years later he attended Dallas Theological Seminary and graduated with a Th.M. (1987) and MABC (2002). From 1991-1993, he continued post-graduate work at the University of South Florida in Counselor Education. While in Florida, he served as a social worker for the department of Health and Rehabilitative Services in Ft. Myers, counseling developmentally disabled adults. Additionally, he taught as a substitute at the graduate school and interned under the direction of Dr. Lucy Mabery-Foster (Dallas Theological Seminary). He served as a adjunct professor of psychology at Collin College and lecturer at Southern Methodist University continuing education department. His gift and passion for biblically-based counseling has also led him to build a thriving practice with offices in Frisco and Plano Texas where he is the president and clinical director, licensed professional counselor, board certified anger resolution therapist of Stonebriar Counseling Associates. As a counselor and seminar speaker at various professional associations, his writing has also include publications such as Conflict Resolution for Children(Collin County Kids),Counseling Intervention with Couples, Relationship Networking In The Business World, Estate Planning, and Financial Planning for the Family(Colorado Springs Business Journal). Both he and Lois who live in Plano, Texas are the proud parents of four children and five grandchildren.
Dr. Stephen ChockStephen was raised in Honolulu. His M.A. and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology are from Ohio State University. While helping plant Grace Community Church, Stephen was ordained in 1991. He has led the Youth Group, Mid-Week Bible Study, Singles Ministry, and the Support Group Ministries at Grace. He currently is clinical director of the Counseling and Life Development Center, and a full time Neuropsychologist at Baylor Hospital’s Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit in Dallas, and from 1990-95 he practiced with the Minirth-Meier Christian Psychiatric Clinic in Richardson.
Dr. Chock has been a Counselor since 1978 and a Licensed Psychologist since 1989 (Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, License #2-3764). Below is a summary of his professional experience.
1995-present Neuropsychologist, Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation, Dallas, Texas, Traumatic Brain Injury Service. Inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation neurocogntive evaluation and treatment.
1994-97 Staff Psychologist, Heritage Place Nursing Home, Mesquite, Texas. Contract work one half day per week for Senior Psychology Services. Initial neuropsychological and psychological evaluation and psychotherapy for residents.
1990-95 Neuropsychologist/Consultant. Minirth-Meier New Life Clinic, Richardson, Texas. Neuropsychological, projective, personality, and vocational testing and assessment of inpatients, day hospital, and outpatients in a Christian mental health clinic.
1991-93 Rehabilitation Psychology Consultant. North Texas Medical Center - Westpark Campus, McKinney, Texas. 12 bed rehabilitation/sub-acute hospital. Neuropsychological evaluation and consultation.

Kevin Curry
Kevin D. Curry III is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 17 years experience providing effective cognitive-behavioral and solution focused therapeutic intervention services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. His acceptance of Jesus Christ led him to pursue God's call to help those in emotional pain, and strengthened his interest in offering his gifts to the Christian community. Kevin is currently completing the final year of his doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at Argosy University in Dallas, Texas. He earned a Masters Degree in Counseling from Lehigh University. Kevin is considered one of the foremost experts in the area of anger management in the North Texas area. He also possesses specialized skill sets in treating adolescent and adult depression, marital relations, domestic violence, incest recovery, anxiety issues, and conflict mediation.
Deborah Kabrane
Deborah Kabrane, M.A., LPC is originally from Santa Monica, California. She moved to North Texas with her family of seven, while still in grade school. With love and tremendous support from her husband, Deborah received her Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude, from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1995. In 1999, she went on to receive her Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Amberton University. Deborah successfully completed her internship and post graduate work at UT Southwestern Medical Center in the Child and Adolescent Department of Psychiatry and obtained her licensure from the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors in 2004. Upon invitation, Deborah remained at UTSW as a practicing clinician. She is now in private practice at Stonebriar Counseling Associates. Her range of clinical experience includes work in the managed care environment, clinical research and development, psychometric testing, inpatient care management, EAP mediation / counselor, consultant and clinical psychotherapist in private practice. She has facilitated workshops and seminars on various mental health issues including: Stress & Management, Enhancing Self Esteem, Positive Parenting, Play Therapy-An Effective Therapeutic Approach, Wellness in the Workplace, Managing Managed Care, and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD). Cody McCain
Cody McCain grew up in Dallas where he attended Jesuit College Preparatory School. He has been a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist church since 1994. In 2005 Cody recieved his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He recieved his M.A. in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from Southern Methodist Universtiy in 2007 and is currently working on his Licensed Professional Counselor Internship under the supervision of Harry Cates, M.A., LPC-S. Cody enjoys working with persons from diverse backgrounds and has expereince working with many of the problems people face daily. Lori Payne
Lori Payne is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been working in the field of counseling in various roles (pre & post-licensure) for 10 years. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, overseeing the clinical work of counseling interns under her supervision. Lori is a native Texan with strong family ties and a love for her “furry children” (her dogs). She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University and her Master of Arts degree from Texas Woman’s University. Lori enjoys working with teenagers and their families. She has a heart for meeting teens where they are, giving them hope, and making the counseling process fun. She also enjoys working with adults, families, and children ages 10-12. Lori is skilled in working with a wide array of issues life may present .She has experience counseling individuals who are dealing with issues related to substance abuse, depression, anxiety, self-injury, anger management, family issues, adjustment disorders, self-esteem, as well as spiritual issues. Lori believes the redemptive work of Christ is the foundation of any progress or growth achieved through counseling, as it is a collaborative effort. Lori was trained in family systems therapy through her graduate studies and believes it is important to consider the whole “system” (whether that be family, friends, community, etc.) from which a person comes when engaging in the counseling process. Wendy-Kaye Russell
Wendy applies her excellent training and heart of compassion to help her clients find new ways to solve problems, break negative patterns, feel better and lead healthy fulfilling lives. She earned a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Eastern Nazarene College in Massachusetts in 2002, and holds additional certification using activity based therapy through the National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children. Wendy has a strong belief in the transforming power of Faith, Hope and Love. In her dynamic, non-judgmental style she equips her clients with practical wisdom and hope for their personal lives and relationships. Her previous experience includes counseling adults and children as well as doing family and group therapy. Additionally, she volunteered in Boston at a Crisis Pregnancy Center and a Rape Crisis Hotline, and she worked in Jamaica as a counselor for women and youth. Wendy has also been active in helping others through the local church where she and her husband are members. She is registered with the Texas State Board as a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, and is under the supervision of Lori Vann, MA, LPC-S. Michael D. Dawson
After a successful career in business, Mike earned his Master of Arts degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling and in Christian Education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern he integrates Christian principles with effective therapies in order to help individuals and families live more productive, meaningful lives.
